Most Large-Scale Exhibition of Eric Bulatov Runs in Manege

The Manege central exhibition hall presents an exhibition of Eric Bulatov

It is the most large-scale exposition of the classic of modern art.

More than 90 canvasses and 50 graphic artworks from Russian and foreign museums and private collections will be shown in the Manege. Among them there are fifteen paintings created in the last ten years. The most important of them is the canvass Painting and the Viewers (2011-2013), which is a monumental paraphrase of the famous classical masterpiece The Appearance of Christ before the People by Alexander Ivanov.

The works of the recent years outline new horizons of the artist’s evolution since his last retrospective exhibition in Moscow (The Tretyakov State Gallery, 2006).
