The park of the legends of Urals was opened in the “Demidkovo” Health Resort on Saturday. The characters of fairy-tales and folklore has been created by the stone sculptors during one month within the art symposium of sculptures “Peroom”, as the Perm online daily newspaper “TEXT” transmits the message of the press service of “Demidkovo”.

      “The park of the legends of Urals  is an attempt to visualize the cultural heritage of our region in stone. Each sculpture presents a story related to Kama Land. It can be learned by young children, students and adults with fun while playing” - the curator of the art symposium “Peroom” Ildar Mamatov said. The sculptures “Ermakov’s swans”, “Stone Flower”, “Snake Trail”, “Warrior’s Mitten”, “Mistress of Copper Mountain” and characters of other Bazhov’s tales are located in the park. The original works include the first stone visualization of the character of Ural folklore Demidych, the treasurer of Ermak.
