Moscow State University and Beijing Polytechnic State University will create a new university.
Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov (MSU) and Beijing Polytechnic University signed an agreement on establishment of a joint university.
It is reported that the rector of MSU Viktor Sadovnichy and his Chinese counterpart Hu Hayang signed an agreement on the establishment of a joint Russian-Chinese International University. “Today is a historic day. A joint university is established in China for first time of the 260 years of the history of MSU”- Sadovnichy said, adding that the new university graduates will receive diplomas of both MSU and Beijing Polytechnic University, and the study will be conducted in three languages. The new university will begin to educate students in 2015.
