Exhibition of Aaron April Comes to Moscow

The Moscow Museum of Modern Art will hold the exhibition Unconscious Reality by the Israeli artist Aaron April.

The exposition includes works on mythological and biblical scenes, landscapes and allegorical paintings. Special attention is paid to water color paintings. Exploring nuances of light, Aaron April makes water colour a self-sufficient means of expression.

The main subject of his works is the history of Israel. Bible legends unfolding against the background of southern landscapes are not stories of the past for the artist, but are eternally repeating plots. Inner intensity and dramatic nature are combined with outer vibrancy in paintings by Aaron April.

The exhibition will run from September 17 till October 12.
