Nicolas Fontaine Exhibition to Run in Moscow

The After:Six Gallery opens the exhibition Fragile by Nicolas Fontaine on September 18.

Ironic collages by the Canadian artist Nicolas Fontaine combine elements of glam rock and abstract expressionism. They puzzle the viewers with the feeling of evanescence and total dispersion that accompanies life in the modern world. His abstract art works with the unexpected use of latex and spangles conveys subtle irony and challenge the traditional approach. The heritage of the Canadian automatism and the Les Plasticiens school goes hand in hand with certain elements of gay and glam rock aesthetics in Nicolas Fontaine’s works. The artist lives and works in Berlin.

The exhibition runs till October 3.
