Alexander Kokorin and Alexey Ionov have helped Dynamo Moscow get an away win over Panathinaikos in their first Group E Europa League match.
The blue and white side managed by Stanislav Cherchesov proved stronger that their Greek rivals.
The victory comes after a crushing 5-1 defeat by reigning champion CSKA against Italy’s Roma.
Stanislav Cherchesov moved to Dynamo from Amkar in the previous season.
Before Amkar, he was head coach of Terek Grozny but fell out of favour with the president of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov.
