First Russian Movie about Zombie Apocalypse Made in Tyumen

The Evacuation movie about zombies will be provided to film studios and producers for broadcasting on television.

American stories about zombies, deathly viruses and rangers struggling with the evil, were screened in the Siberian setting of Tyumen.

The film makers took care of creating the atmosphere of alarm and fear, and selected a location with semi ruined houses and misty autumn landscapes that are oppressing just as much to fit a zombie apocalypse.

It took a long time to make complicated visual effects and postscoring. The film directors are Anita Berkhane and John David Cliff, who are both known for their work in independent cinema.

The actors Vasily Bichev and Alexander Kuskov from the Sverdlovsk Academic Drama Theater played the leads in the thriller.

The screenwriter Roman Mamontov states that the Russian version of the zombie apocalypse is different from Hollywood standards. Along with zombies there is plenty of shooting, explosions, and grisly moments.
