Monument to Peter the Great Unveiled in Nizhny Novgorod

Monument to Tsar Peter the Great has been set up in front of the Zachatyevsky Tower of the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin.

The Nizhny Novgorod governor Valery Shantsev took part in the unveiling ceremony. In his speech the governor mentioned that this place had been selected out of a few options.

As a result the experts decided on all hands to set up the monument between the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin wall and the main embankment of the city.
