Alexander Bashirov and Fedor Bondarchuk to Make Film about Donbass Events

The Russian film director and actor Alexander Bashirov is making a documentary about Donbass.

The film will be titled Donbass is Knocking on Our Heart. According to him, the producer Fyodor Bondarchuk and the Glavkino Studio CEO Ilya Bachurin have joined the film project.

Alexander Bashirov has already visited Donbass in the southeast of Ukraine, where he brought humanitarian supplies. There he made “a short trailer... So far it is just a film sketch, whereas the movie will be full-length, over 70 minutes long. My team is now working on it; there is still a lot to film and money is required... We need to come here again and again and go on filming”.

The film premiere is still very far ahead. It does not even have a script yet. “There is just documentary material, which will be filmed on. If it is possible to unfold it into a feature film we will surely make it”, - Ilya Bachurin said.
