Valery Karpin may leave Mallorca after a dismal start in the second Spanish league, say media reports.
According to Mallorca Confidencial, the decision on the head coach may be taken today at an extraordinary session of the management.
In seven rounds Mallorca has managed to get just two points after two draws and five lost games.
Valery Karpin moved to Spain in August 2014 after he had been fired from Spartak Moscow.

After several seasons in Moscow, the long-standing coach was fired after two losses in matches against Terek Grozny in the Premier League and Tosno Leningrad Region, a club from the second division, in the Russian Cup.
Coming sixth in the previous season of the Russian Premier League, Spartak Moscow has now ambitious goals to get back into the top three and the European club tournaments, dreams buoyed up by the signing of Roman Shirokov from Zenit and a newly built stadium, Otkritie Arena.
The team’s owner, Leonid Fedun, complained the title was floating away despite the fact that Karpin had all he had wanted.
Yakin replaced Karpin as the new coach.
