Fire broke out in a wooden house in Sarapul (Udmurtia) at noon on October 4.
At this time a woman with two children was there in the house.
Their 18-year-old neighbor Vladislav Mineyev, a student of the Sarapul Technical School, noticed the smoke and called a fire brigade. However, the young man did not stand idly by but hearing the shouts he smashed the door down and carried a 6 year-old boy out of the house. Right after that the student began to extinguish fire with water from a bucket. The woman took her 7-year-old daughter out of the house.
The woman says that when the fire broke out she was afraid to pass through the fire and smoke. Being panic stricken, she even forgot to call firefighters. She embraced her children and was crying.
Presently experts are setting causes of the fire. Vladislav Mineyev will be awarded with a medal of the Emercom of Russia, the press service of the Russian Emergency Ministry reports.
