The ethnic cultural complex “Taimyr-Mou” in the open air starts working in Dudinka, the capital of Taimyr, on October 10. The territory of the mini-museum with the name translated as “Taimyr Land” from Dolgan Language will host several chums, flagpoles with ornamented flags of five ethnic groups of Taimyr, national game equipment, story sculptures and the exhibition of traditional costumes of the peoples of the North.
The sculpture pompositions for the museum were made by Dudinka masters led by People’s Master of the Republic of Yakutia Fyodor Markov. The press service of the public relations department of Taimyr District said that the central tent 9 meters high and 7 meters in diameter will house the exposition reflecting the history of the project creation on the opening day of the ethnic complex. One will be able to taste the best dishes of the Taimyr peoples in five small tents located around the main one.
