The Mayor of the capital Sergei Sobyanin supported the proposal of giving the name of Yuri Lyubimov to one of the streets in Moscow. The corresponding message is posted on the official web portal mos.ru and in the mayor’s account. “I consider it possible to support the proposal to name one of the streets of Moscow after Yuri Lyubimov” - the press office of the Mayor and the government quotes the Mayor of the capital. The report stresses the fact that Sobyanin has given relevant instructions on the submission of proposals, as Interfax quotes the report of the press service of the mayor. The members of the public also supported the initiative.

      The famous theatre director, the founder of the Taganka Theatre Lyubimov died of heart failure at the age of 97 in Moscow on Sunday.
