The Federal Space Agency has developed a program of far space exploration. The key point of this program will be the flight to the Moon, as “Interfax” reports, referring to the Head of ROSCOSMOS Yuri Makarov.
“This year the Federal Space Agency jointly with the Russian Academy of Sciences, Kurchatov Institute and Rosatom has prepared a long-term program of far space exploration” – Makarov stated. “The core of this program is the Moon” - the official clarified. According to him, the technologies “are ready” for these achievements. The Vice-President of Russian Academy of Sciences Lev Zelyony reported about the planned landings of manned spacecrafts on the Moon in the middle of 2020s. “We are talking of the landings of manned spacecrafts on the Moon by the end of the next decade” – Zelyony reported.
