100th Anniversary of Schukin Theatre Institute

The exhibition From Simple to Complicated has been opened at the Bakhrushin Theatre Museum.

The exhibition titled after the famous A. Vakhtangov formula of teaching based on Stanislavsky system is dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of Schukin Theatre Institute.

The exhibits tell about the history and the present life of the famous Schukin Theatre Institute. They include a student ID card of Andrey Mironov and Yury Lyubimov's draft copies, photos of the first performances, audio and video records of student's stage productions, etc. The visitors will see all the development stages of this legendary theatre school.

The four halls in the museum exhibit the recreated studio, photos of students and teachers, a retrospective of the theater plays, Evgeny Vakhtangov's letter to students, etc.

The exhibition will run in the Theatre Gallery (branch of the Bakhrushin Theatre Museum) at the address 9, Malaya Ordynka Street till November 23, 2014.
