System for Potential Stroke Condition Developed
Scheme of stroke

A group of software developers from Perm designed a telemedical system for potential stroke condition detection. The system is called ARGUS.

The ARGUS system needs only 15 seconds for stroke risk assessment. This helps a potential patient to seek appropriate medical advice and help. Usually medics have only 3-6 hours to save a patient from disability or death.

When one feels not so good, he starts with making a video record of himself for 15 seconds by means of a special mobile application. This allows the system to analyse 18 parameters of his physical condition with 99% accuracy by means of skin colour change caused by blood travelling around the body, which is estimated by means of mathematical algorithms.

The ARGUS application will be released later this year and will be free with built-in purchases.
