Veduchi Ski Resort Will Welcome Tourists Soon

The opening of the “Veduchi” ski resort is scheduled for 2015, as the press service of the Head and the government of the Chechen Republic reports.

“In the nearest future we will open the complex at Kezenoi Am, the construction of a camp site in Benoi begins. All this will provide thousands of people with jobs, increase tax revenues for the budget” - the Head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov stressed.

The Head of the Republic also requested the first deputy chairman of the Chechen government Isa Tumhadzhiev to do everything possible so that the resort could receive visitors next year. The year-round “Veduchi” ski resort will have the capability to accommodate 4800 visitors at once. According to specialists’ calculation, the total length of the cable ways at the resort will make up more than 15 km. The placement of extra skiing areas is also planned: the extreme park (Snow Park), the entertainment ski area (Funny Ski Park), the area for beginners and the children’s ski town (Beginners & Kids Ski Zone), as well as off-piste areas (Freeski/Freeride).
