The 100th jubilee of the People's Artist of the USSR Vladimir Zeldin has already been celebrated in Moscow.

      Celebrations have been started long before the actor’s 100th birthday that will be marked the Russian Army Theatre on February 10.

      Vladimir Zeldin still plays in four performances a month, the theatre director Ivan Chursin reports. According to him, on February 10 the legendary 100-year-old actor will appear on stage as the star in the premiere 100 Years, or Dancing with Time. Both the play and the performance are dedicated to the main hero of celebrations.

      Vladimir Zeldin has played about 40 film roles, among them the most popular one, the role of the shepherd Musaiba Gatuyev in the Soviet movie Pig-tender and Shepherd (1941).
