Photo Exhibition of Baikal-Lena Nature Reserve

Photo Exhibition of Baikal-Lena Nature Reserve

Timiryazev Biological Museum has opened the photo exhibition Baikal and Lena, Mountains and Taiga.

Baikal is very beautiful. The staff of Baikal-Lena Nature Reserve can tell about it better than anybody else. They can tell it non-verbally, just with the help of a photo camera. The authors of these photos do not just live and work in this area, but also know much more about it than others do.

The unique vegetation of the Baikal and Lena Nature Reserve makes proper surroundings for the brown bears, squirrels and chipmunks, weasels, Siberian weasels, the Siberian flying squirrels, and the viviparous lizards.

The exhibition runs from October 29 till November 10, 2014.
