An international exhibition of wildlife photographs “Golden Turtle 2014” was opened in Kaliningrad Zoo. As the press-service reported to “Afisha Novogo Kaliningrada.Ru”, the residents of Kaliningrad will be able to see the first part of the exhibition called “Harmony of the Cold Element” in autumn. The exhibition in the conference hall of the zoo will work until December 21. At the same time the products made by puppeteers will be displayed in the hall within the exhibition “Doll Fairy-Tales about the World of Animals”.

      The second part of the exhibition “Golden Turtle 2014. Best” will open in the conference hall of the Zoo in January. The International Photo Contest “Golden Turtle” was held this year for the eighth time. It involved animalist photographers from 77 countries who sent around 1,500 photographs. The contest committee has selected 200 pictures in 12 categories out of the total number of works.
