Moscow Register Of Monuments Of History And Architecture Was Updated

Another eight buildings in the centre of Moscow have been included into the register of monuments of history and architecture, as the press service of the Moscow Construction Complex reports. According to The Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Policy and Construction Marat Khusnullin, the assignment of such status to the building protects them from any rearrangements and distortions.

Historical and architectural monuments are: the ensemble of commercial apartment buildings of the Moscow Merchant Society of 1912-1915 on Solyanka; the residential house of the staff of the Joint Stock Company “Journal and Newspaper Union (Zhurgaz)” at the address: 17A, 1st Samotechny Lane; the ensemble of commercial apartment buildings of Sheremetyev in Romanov Lane; the commercial apartment building with shops of the Moscow Merchant Society on Neglinnaya Street; the residential house built in 1928 in Milyutinsky Lane; the house of Arshinovs in Staromonetny Lane; the urban estate of XVIII - early XX centuries on Arbat; the residential house of Shchapov on Baumanskaya Street.
