Tuva Pupil Rewarded with Computer for Rescuing Kids from Fire

A 12-year-old boy got an award for his heroic act in Tuva.

The head of the Tuva Republic handed him a tablet computer. The school boy saved life of his smaller siblings. The incident happened at home of a multi-child family in the village of Sukpak.

When parents were away from home, the 12-year-old Adyya felt fire stink. He rushed to save his brothers and sisters. The way to the entrance door was cut off by fire. However, the boy did not lose courage. He broke the room window with a chair, took his 3 month-old brother in his arms, brought him out and put on the ground to go back to the burning building. Thus, the 12-year-old boy brought his younger brothers and sister from the burning house. Altogether there were four of them.

Firefighters extinguished the fire and saved only two rooms of it.
