The largest of known parrot-beaked dinosaurs, Psittacosaurus, has been found by scientists in Shestakov Site in the Kemerovo Region.
Scientists assume that unlike the earlier finds, these are remains of an adult that was about 3 meters long.
Now scientists will be able to study the changes that took place in the skeleton of a Psittacosaurus in the process of growing. Secondly, the new information will make it possible to study the way of life of ancient animals, for example, the way they moved.
Scientists are yet to explore one more monolith. They expect to unearth about 10 paleontological exhibits in the course of this expedition.
