The Multimedia Art Museum presents an exhibition of Julia Margaret Cameron (1815-1879), one of the most outstanding and innovative photographers of the 19th century.

      The exhibition in the Moscow Multimedia Art Museum presents photos from the richest collection of Julia Margaret Cameron’s works that are kept in the Victoria and Albert Museum. It marks the 200th anniversary since the artist birth and 150 years from since opening her first exhibition in the South Kensington Museum (nowadays known as Victoria and Albert Museum) in 1865.

      The exhibition will present more than 250 photos (including 87 photos sold or presented to the museum in 1865) and five letters written by her to the museum director and founder Sir Henry Cole.

      The exhibition runs till February 1, 2015.
