Young Man Saved Life of 4-Year-Old Boy

An emergency occurred on Linevka River in the Balakovo District of the Saratov Region the other day.

      About 5 pm the local EMERCOM staff was reported about a kid fallen under ice into water in children's camp Neposeda. By the time the rescuers team arrived at the incident scene one of the eyewitnesses had rushed to save the child. The man crawled upon his stomach on the ice towards the boy, grabbed him and took him out to the ground while breaking the ice. 

      The saved boy is 4 years old. His mother explained that she had left her son alone for a short while to do some shopping. The emergency ambulance and the rescue team administered first aid to the boy.
