Russia, Saudi Arabia, Mexico and Venezuela consider current oil prices to be too low. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela Rafael Ramirez, as TASS reports.
The statement was made by him following the results of the four-party negotiations in Vienna. According to representatives of the countries, oil price should be around $ 100 per barrel. Ramirez added that all four countries share each other’s position on the situation on the global market.
They agreed to hold another meeting in three months. So far the states decided to perform joint monitoring of prices. Venezuela and Saudi Arabia discussed the decline in production volumes with Russia and Mexico during the meeting. However, no certain decision has been taken.
