French Wines Ban

A member of the State Duma Defense Committee Vladimir Bessonov announced the need to prohibit the supplies of French wines in Russia in response to the suspension of execution of the contract on “Mistral” helicopter carriers.

      “Let’s ban the sales of French wine in Russia. Even a talk about it can bring the desired results” - he said on the air of “Russian News Service”. “The parliamentarian called the decision to order helicopter carriers in the country-member of NATO a mistake. “You cannot order even food in NATO countries, not to mention arms, because security must be ensured. This is the greatest folly, if not sabotage. In addition, Russian helicopters cannot land on these helicopter carriers” – Bessonov stated.
