Painting of Turkmenistan. Melodies of Turkmen Soul

Turkmenistan has been long known for its jewelry and carpets that are encoded chronicles of this ancient land.

The centuries old traditions are conveyed in painting as well. This is what the new exhibition of the Oriental Arts Museum is dedicated to.

60 paintings by the most famous Turkmen artists of the 20th and 21st centuries will arrive from Ashgabat, the city that has become the cradle for the art form that is new to the Turkmen culture.

The exhibition runs in the Oriental Arts Museum from December 6 to December 21.
