Animalistic Exhibition in State Darwin Museum
8.12.2014 12:14
Animalistic Exhibition in State Darwin Museum

The exhibition in the Darwin Museum is dedicated to five outstanding animalistic artists.

Just like the Tsarskoye Selo Lyceum brought together educated people of the early 19th century, so the Darwin Museum attracted gifted animalists in the beginning of the 20th century.

This year the museum celebrates anniversaries of the artists E. G. Gavrilov, D. V. Gorlov, A. N. Komarov, A. G. Sotnikov, and A. N. Formozov. The artists worked in different techniques, and so this contrast of colors, forms, and styles will make the exposition of 185 works even more vibrant.

The exhibition runs till January 25, 2015.
