A bronze moneybox memorial to a stray dog has been set up in Orenburg.

      The idea initiated by the Region TV company and Echo of Moscow in Orenburg was supported by deputies and local dwellers of the regional center.

      The monument prototype was made in summer of the current year. It is a sad multibred dog sitting on a manhole cover. The bronze dog will become a patron and defender of stray animals living in the streets of Orenburg.

      The charity moneybox will be used for treatment of stray animals.

      The monument will be set up near the Maxim Gorky Regional Drama Theater.
