An architecture monument of the early 20th century was set on fire in Yaroslavl again.
The smoke issued from the house windows was noted by locals. People called firefighters and started bringing burning objects out of the house themselves. This house has long become a haven for hobos and alcoholics, who cook food on an open fire, smoke and drink alcohol. Just in the recent half a year the wooden building caught fire several times. According to local dwellers, the house was set on fire by builders that plan to construct an elite high-rise building on this ground.
Public men addressed the Culture Department several times with the request to block access to the architecture monument. They are sure that the house is under the threat of destruction. Architects insist on making it regional property again and have already sent an appropriate request.
