Free internet access has become available on all lines of the Moscow Metro.

      From December 2 all 12 lines stretching over 325 km were equipped with free internet access, while the number of carriages having access points exceeds 5 thousand. Thus, the project on equipment of the Moscow Metro with a Wi-Fi network has been completed one month ahead of schedule.

      There are no analogues of the Moscow project of Internet access in the Metro anywhere in the world. The implementation of the project of equipment of the Metro rolling stock with Wi-Fi network began on  September1, 2013.
