A new interactive project for the fans of extreme tours will be launched in the Historical and Architectural Museum-Reserve of Tobolsk on December 5. Within the project a hostel will open in one of the convicts’ buildings of the Tobolsk prison castle; it will have a symbolic name: “Uznik” (“The Prisoner”).
Five rooms in the hostel designed for two, four and six people are real prison cells with prison beds and bars on the windows. In addition, the visitors will be able to participate in a specially prepared interactive program. So, if the guests of the hostel wish, they can spend an hour “imprisoned” in an isolation cell, the only piece of furniture there is the folding plank-bed. Anyone who goes to the isolation cell has to leave all means of communication - phones, tablets - at the cell entrance. Everyone can taste prison gruel, make a tour to the prison castle and take a walk through the prisoner’s yard. The first group of the visitors of the “Uznik” hostel has already been formed.
