Memorial to Last Russian Emperor to Appear in Omsk Region

Sitting of the Siberian Road Association took place in the Lyubino District.

This non-profit organization was founded in the summer of 2014 for the purpose of developing tourist attractiveness of the Siberian Federal District.

A memorial complex dedicated to the last Russia Emperor Nicholas II is planned to be created in the district of Lyubino in the framework of the Siberian Road project.

The train that was taking Nicholas II and his family towards Omsk was locked out in Lyubino, and then sent to Yekaterinburg towards the tragic end. Lyubino turned to be a fatal place for Nicholas II, the regional Ministry of Culture explains.

Besides, a sculpture of the ancient soldier may appear on one of the remaining barrows in the Sargat District. As Oleg Isaev, the head of the Sargat District explains, the artifacts found in ancient burials made it possible for archeologists to restore the appearance and armament of the ancient soldier.
