Exhibition on Life of Emperor Paul I Held in St. Petersburg

The Mikhailovsky Castle presents exhibition on childhood and youth of the legendary Prince and Emperor Paul I.

The exposition consists of the prince’s portraits and canvasses that altogether give an overall picture of life of the well-known personality. In addition to that the visitors will see graphic art, arts and crafts and rare archive documents.

It is remarkable that selecting the Mikhailovsky Castle as the exhibition venue was not mere chance. Though the emperor lived for only 40 days there, the castle became his favourite pet-project.
