The exhibition dedicated to the cult New Year movie Irony of Fate directed by Eldar Ryazanov will be held in Moscow.
The Irony of Fate went on TV screen for the first time on January 1, 1976. It became a cult film traditionally broadcasted by lots of Russian TV channels on the New Year holidays.
The exhibition will take place in Rozhdestvensky Boulevard in Moscow. Visitors of the interactive exhibition timed to the 40th anniversary of the cult comedy Irony of Fate will have a chance to take pictures against the background of the film still-frames. The original film tape was found in the State Film Fund to create life-size images. The scanned scenes were handled by restorers in a professional photo laboratory to give the greatest possible resolution to every image.
The exhibition will be accompanied with a 15-meter ice-run for visitors.
The exhibition runs till January 7, 2015.
