New Museums to Appear at VDNKh in Moscow

Moscow authorities intend to open new historical museums and exhibition centers at the VDNKh exhibition centre.

      The area of 12 thousand square meters has been ascribed to the museums, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said.

      A presentation of one of such projects has already taken place. The mayor looked at the open storages of the State Literary Museum.

      A few other museums are planned to be opened, since attendance has went up by 45 per cent, Mr. Sobyanin pointed out.

      According to the Culture Minister Vladimir Medinsky, the Oriental Museum, the Cinema Museum and the Russia History Museum will be opened at the VDNKh.
