The winner of the competition for development of the concept for the “Mitino” park was announced in Moscow a few days ago.
As a result of the vote, the jury selected the work of the consortium led by the landscape bureau “Arteza” (previously engaged in private projects for country houses and residential complexes, as well as the reconstruction of the Triumfalnaya Square in collaboration with Buro Moscow). It also collaborated with the architectural bureau “Form” (development of architectural elements and pavilions), the consulting company “Russian Research Group” (the team was responsible for the study of the park audience and its needs) and the company “IT Pro” (street lighting). The concept invented by “Arteza” is called “Red Mitino Park. A Park with History”.
“The architects propose to take a red leaf as a basis of corporate identity. It is to be used in the design of the park entrances, benches, pavilions, cafes, greenhouses, sheds and other infrastructure components. The Baryshikha River flows across the entire territory of the park, there are Bolshoy and Maly (Big and Small) Penyaginskiy ponds. It was proposed to improve the embankments for recreation of the park visitors.
