New Year Clock

The largest “New Year’s” clock in Russia was opened on December 21 at the Ostankino TV tower, as Curioso Turisto reports. A huge timer is projected onto the media façade of the Ostankino tower and shows the amount of days, hours, minutes and seconds left until 2015.

The launch of the country’s largest clock was attended by Father Frost from the Moscow Estate who paid a formal visit to the Ostankino TV tower. The New Year’s post titled “Sending dreams to the sky” also opened at the observation deck of the Europe’s highest building on Sunday. In order to take part in the campaign, before you rise to the observation deck you need to take a special form, complete it with your New Year’s wishes and indicate your contact information, then dip into a special box. The campaign participants will receive unusual gifts from the Ostankino Tower on January 8; and the authors of the most memorable letters will be invited to visit Father Frost.
