The grave of the famous Soviet writer Mikhail Sholokhov has been registered on the list of cultural heritage sites of Russia.
It is located in Vyoshenskaya Village in the Rostov Oblast of the Sholokhov Region. The government has also specified names of the range of cultural heritage sites of federal value: "The house in which M. A. Sholokhov was born in 1905 and lived till 1910 ", "The house in which M. A. Sholokhov lived and worked from 1910 till 1925", "The house in which M. A. Sholokhov lived and worked on the Quiet Flows the Don novel in 1926-1927", "The Estate where M. A. Sholokhov lived and worked in 1928-1984”.
The decision taken will secure preserving, using and promoting the state protection of five cultural heritage objects of federal value connected to the writer Mikhail Sholokhov.
