People are bringing flowers to and light candles near the building of the Embassy of France in Moscow.
“We want to show that there are people in Russia who are not indifferent to the incident in Paris and who denounce these murders”, – said the people who came to stand in memory of the terror act victims.
January 7 saw an act of terrorism in the editorial office of the satirical journal Charlie Hebdo in Paris: unidentified assailants with machine guns broke into the office and opened fire. As a result 12 people were killed, two police officers among them, and over 20 people were wounded.
January 8 has been announced the day of national mourning in France. French flags will be down for three days.
