Schoolboy Saved Two Kids Fallen under Ice

A teenager heroically saved two children, who feel under ice while sledging on frozen lake in Zheleznovodsk.

The 14-year-old Ilya Zubkov was passing by when he spotted the children drowning. He crawled on his belly towards the ice breach several meters away, where the kids were flopping about in ice-cold water. As the eighth-grader admitted later, he had seen it on TV what to do in such situations.

A fishing nearby noticed the teenager struggling with the breaking ice and trying to pull the children out of the water. The man rushed to help him and together they managed to get one child after another with the help of sledges. The saviors wanted to help the kids warm up and find out their health condition.
