The house of a large family in the Loginovskaya Village of the Nyandomsky District was on fire.
The owner of the house is a 35-year-old woman with five children. The woman was at work and two elder kids were at their grandmother’s place.
4-year-old girl, the youngest one, started up fire in the stove and then on the carpet. Thus she and two other kids were in danger. A 76-year-old pensioner came running to their assistance. Being a member of the All-Russian Voluntary Fire Fighter Association, Yury Andreyevich Khrobinsky was quick on the uptake: he asked his wide to call the fire brigade and rushed into the house on fire. The man brought children out of the house into fresh air and so there was no harm done. Afterwards the pensioner suppressed fire with buckets of water till firefighters arrived. As a result the three-apartment wooden house was saved from destruction. One room was damaged by fire.
