The ice town in Chelyabinsk will persist until the end of winter.

Air temperature above zero degrees should not affect the snow figures. The officials have allocated additional manpower for this purpose. The holes will be patched by six people every night.

“The town is strong enough, it survived the holidays, and now the temperature is high again, so the group is trying to restore the town during the evening hours” – the Head of the Culture Department of the Administration of Chelyabinsk Dmitry Nazarov told. The ice town has been visited be more than 100 thousand residents of Chelyabinsk during the holidays. The creators of the winter attractions are sure that if the sculptures survived such a test, no weather is too much for them.
