Virtual 3D-tours will be conducted through Moscow Planetarium, as the deputy CEO of the Planetarium Oksana Maltseva reported.

Video panoramas for all rooms have already been made. The management of the Planetarium is also considering the issue of creating a mobile application for the museum. The experts also propose to develop a function of recognition of heavenly bodies within this app.

A special section on the Planetarium website for 3D-tours will appear. Entering it, users will be able to see all the exhibition halls: a large hall star, the “Uraina” museum and the interactive museum “Lunarium”, the sky park with two observatory towers, the 4D-cinema and the small star room. The virtual tours of planetarium will appear until the end of February.

“The project is ready, but not yet uploaded to the website. Now we are solving some technical problems, so that the program works well” - the deputy CEO explained. According to her, the 3D-tour is the first stage of “virtualization” of the Planetarium, the draft of mobile applications for smartphones will be discussed during this year.
