The visitors of the Moscow Planetarium will be able to see the volcanoes’ eruptions in February. The guests will witness the eruptions taking place in different parts of the Solar System.
A fulldome program “Supervolcanoes” will tell tales of an ancient volcano on the island of Sumatra, ice geysers on Triton, fire fountains escaping from under the soil of the Jupiter’s satellite Io, the underground power sleeping on the territory of Yellowstone Park. The projections on the Europe’s largest dome of the Moscow Planetarium will bring across the power of animated elements.
The sessions will be held at 6:10 p.m. on February 1, 5-13, 19-22, 26-28. Ticket price is 600 roubles, it also includes a tour of the classical museum of Urania. The tour begins 1 hour prior to the session in the Great Star Hall.
