Passengers of long-distance trains running within national traffic can get tickets on the top berths of compartment carriages “FPC” with discounts up to 45% from February 2 to 6, according to the Press Service of “Russian Railways” OJSC. In addition, from February 2, 2015 passengers will be able to get tickets in carriages of long-distance trains with discounts up to 40%.

      Russian Railways noted that discounts vary depending on the numbering of seats in the open-plan carriages of these trains. So, the discounts on the upper side berths (34 to 54) are granted in the amount of 40%, on upper berths (2 to 32) - in the amount of 20%, and on the lower side berths (33 to 53) - in the amount of 20%. These discounts are not valid during the holidays - February 23, March 8, May 1 and 9. The press service stressed that these discounts would not apply to purchase of travel documents for organized groups of passengers, as well as to children rate; they are also not added to discounts on other special rates.
