New Stations Will Appear In Moscow Metro

The section of Sokolnicheskaya metro line from the “Yugo-Zapadnaya” station to the “Salaryevo” station will be opened by the end of June, according to Deputy Mayor of Moscow on Urban Policy and Construction Marat Khusnullin.

      “Rumyantsevo” metro station which is also a part of this section is 90-95% ready. Finishing works are conducted there now” - he said.

      According to him, the “Rumyantsevo” station will be ready to open in May, and the “Salaryevo” station will be ready in June. “As far as these stations should be opened simultaneously, we will launch the traffic there until the end of June” - the Deputy Mayor said. Khusnullin noted that when laying this section of metro the builders faced the necessity of relaying of a large number of utility networks.
