Russian rock band Mashina Vremeni (Time Machine) put under boycott in Russia takes on a tour around Europe.
The band will give gigs in Berlin, Hanover, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Karlsruhe, and Paris. Mashina Vremeni plans no concerts in Russia but for one gig in Crocus City Hall on March 13. The musicians will be touring with concerts in Europe from mid February till early March.
It is a reminder that the band was put under boycotting following the concert Andrey Makarevich, the band’s frontman, gave in Svyatogorsk at the invitation of officials from Ukraine. The concert hall of the Pearl of Donetsk recreation house, spotlights, flowers, and fans, and all that next to destroyed Slavyansk and burning Lugansk towns. “He performed at the invitation of chasteners and murderers. He accepted their invitation and actually participated in their promotion”, the State Duma deputy Yevgeny Fedorov alleged.
For this reason the band’s concerts scheduled in St. Petersburg, Kazan, Kirov, Samara, Novosibirsk, Tomsk and a few other Russian cities for the autumn of 2014 had to be cancelled.
