Police officers Evgeny Vendin and Stanislav Kitayev pulled two schoolgirls out of ice water in Nevinnomyssk (Stavropol Territory).
A woman spotted the children fallen under broken ice on the town lake and asked the policemen for help.
The police officers crawled on the cracking ice to reach the scene. While crawling they noticed a pensioner with tree branches in his hands hurry to the aid of the schoolgirls.
One of the girls was pulled out of water right away, whereas another girl was saved with the timely aid of rescuers from the Emergency Response. It took them less than four minutes to pull the other girl and the pensioner out of water, as well as help the policemen to get on-shore.
Now the girls’ life and health are safe and they are treated on hospitalization.
